Golden Milk (GF/DF/V)

  • 1 C organic full-fat coconut milk (or unsweetened plant-based milk of choice)

  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1/4” piece ginger root, peeled, roughly grated

  • 1 pinch ground cardamom

  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp raw honey (optional)

In a saucepan, combine the milk, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and black pepper. Whisk often while warming through for about 15 minutes. Turn up the heat until you reach a gentle simmer - continue simmer for 15 minutes. Sip + enjoy!
