About Kale Blossom
Helping you navigate a broken healthcare system.
Our health care system is necessary but it needs a major overhauling. We’ve heard from countless women over our combined thirty years in practice, and have even experienced this ourselves–that dedicated time, proper support and comprehensive care are not being provided.
Here at Kale Blossom, we offer sound information to help support your family’s holistic health + wellness journey. You’ll learn about possible symptoms & what they’re connected to, as well as the necessary steps to getting the care you need + deserve. Our main goal is to empower you to always advocate for you & your family’s health.

Real wellness for women + Moms
First & most importantly, we’re both Moms! Carly has two children, Rachel has six. Motherhood has taught us so much about life, health and matters of the heart. We hope this is evident in how we share and show up here in this space. Our goal is to be authentic and real, imperfect and honest. We’re here for it all!
How did we get here? (Our Story)

We first met in grad school. Carly was the shy Northerner and Rachel the friendly Southerner.
We spent the next 4 years with our heads buried in books, drinking lots of coffee, taking shopping breaks and endless exams, and often staying up way too late. The journey was both difficult and rewarding, and we enjoyed every step of it (for the most part, our adrenals disagreed!).
We graduated together – Rachel with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Carly a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Upon graduation, we each had our own plan as Rachel moved back to her southern roots in Georgia and Carly stayed to practice in Chicagoland. After a year, Carly was convinced to move to a warmer climate and landed in Atlanta near Rachel. We both married, had kids, and were involved in our own professional clinical practices.
Together for over a decade, we have celebrated victories (yay!) and supported each other through the hardships of motherhood + life. ‘Cause let’s face it – being a chick and a Mom while keeping it all together can be tough stuff!

Hi, I’m Rachel!
Well, hi there! I’m Dr. Rachel Marynowski, a licensed Naturopathic Physician & I’ve been in healthcare for over 20 years. After finishing my undergraduate degree in Public Health & working for a large hospital system, I completed my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. In addition to my own functional medicine practice, I co-founded an integrative clinic with a birthing center, have written a children’s book & facilitate women’s therapy groups. Supporting both women & children by getting to root-cause health issues, while also empowering & educating, has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
I’m also a Mom to SIX kiddos! Including a set of surprise twins in my 40’s. My husband & I had always dreamed of having a big family & living on land with animals… & here we are! I love farmer’s markets, a quaint coffee shop, small town bookstores, & hanging out barefoot in my backyard with my chickens & kiddos.
I truly believe in the healing power of nature & the innate wisdom of the human body. I love helping women & their families live healthier, happier lives and you can, too. Carly & I are here to show you how!

Hi, I’m Carly!
Welcome! I’m Dr Carly Egoavil, a licensed Chiropractor & Functional Medicine leader with over 15 years of clinical experience. I have completed my studies in Biological Sciences, with an emphasis on human anatomy & physiology, earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic, and continue to study Functional Medicine, with particular interest in women’s and children’s health. As a provider, it is simply not enough to recognize illness, but to rather uncover and support the root cause – how true healing occurs.
My most important job is ‘Mother’, to two amazing children, an 11-year old daughter and 9-year old son, a loving Cocker Spaniel, Lucy, and wife to a hardworking foodie. I’m a mid-westerner at heart, with an appreciation for the beautiful South in which I call home. I enjoy a good magazine and a cup of coffee, watching my kids play sports, am re-energized by the sun, and continue to work on perfecting my gardening skills – work in progress!
True healing rarely happens in the doctor’s office, but rather in the choices we make daily – we all have the ability and power to heal from within. You can, too, and Rachel and I are here to show you how.

Breaking news, came out this week & it sure feels like a bait & switch walking back their promise to only use cage-free eggs by 2026…
We get it—bird flu. But when you build your brand on “better ingredients,” you don’t get to quietly walk it back. Literally says “real food, rigorous standards” on their website 😳❌🧐
And it almost feels like a bigger dose of trickery that they pride themselves on family values, being closed on Sundays & good manners. Yet their food is…🤯🫣
Plus, cage free eggs are also a crock of bologna anyway. Go read about it. ❌🫣
If we want healthier families, we have to stop falling for polished marketing and start asking better questions. Do better, Chick-fil-A. We really think you can.
Fast food is not real food | we need better options | chick fil a poor ingredients but good manners & good marketing
If these work well for you that’s truly, great. Keep doing what feels good in your body. 🩷
But for the women who are still struggling… exhausted, inflamed, not seeing results, or feeling like “I’m doing everything right and it’s still not working”… this is for you 🤍
Sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about realizing a few of these might be quietly working against you:
1. Placenta encapsulation → not always the hormonal “reset” it’s marketed to be; can actually dysregulate already fragile postpartum hormones & the toxins!
2. Fasting → helpful for some, but for women under stress or with hormone imbalances, it can spike cortisol + backfire
3. Smoothies → easy, but often blood sugar spikes in disguise (especially without enough protein + fat) & cold foods don’t jive with our 98 degree GI’s
4. 2–3 eggs every morning → nutritious, but daily repetition can trigger sensitivities or imbalances for some women
5. Hot yoga → great sweat… but can be another stressor on an already taxed nervous system
6. Veganism → we often see nutrient depletion (iron, B12, amino acids) in our practice
7. Low tox everything… but skipping the basics → swapping products matters, but sleep, minerals, blood sugar, and nervous system come first
8. High intensity training (CrossFit / OrangeTheory) → amazing workouts… but not always aligned with female hormones, especially in burnout seasons
9. Calorie restriction for weight loss → slows metabolism, worsens hormones, and often leads to rebound weight gain
10. GLPs without foundational health → can mask symptoms without addressing root issues like insulin resistance, stress, or nutrient status
11. Raw milk for everyone → nutrient-dense for some, but not universally tolerated (hello gut + immune responses)
12. Gummy vitamins → often sugar + fillers with minimal therapeutic benefit that are hard to digest
What we see over and over again in practice isn’t women doing too little… it’s women doing a lot of the wrong things for their current physiology. Start with the basics. Support your body. Then layer in the extras. 🩷

Just a little spritz… immediate regret 🫠
We used to not think twice about this stuff either…
if it smelled good, it had to be fine… right?
But a lot of these “clean girl” favorites still contain ingredients that can irritate your lungs, mess with hormones, inflame your system or just straight up don’t vibe with your body (as you can see 😅). Did you know they sell 1 Touchland like every 2.5 seconds?! 🤯🤯🤯
The hard part? Sometimes it’s hard to tell just by looking at the label how yucky they can be.
And nope, it’s not about being perfect or never stepping foot in Sephora/ Ulta again. It’s just about knowing what you’re using + making better swaps where you can.
Because those little exposures? They add up.
Comment LIST and we’ll send you our free low-tox guide + a free trial of our app to scan your products and find better swaps without the guesswork 🫶

Here’s your sign to get chickens. 😎
Something we ever thought we’d do…and now we’re like why didn’t we start sooner?? 🐓🥚
It’s fun, it’s simple, and honestly… a little addictive. There’s something about walking outside and collecting eggs you raised that just hits different.
And the eggs? Not even comparable!!!
We’re talking:
🥚 deep orange yolks
🌿 chickens raised the way you choose
🤍 no guessing, no mystery, just real food
It’s one of those things that makes you feel a little more connected, a little more grounded… and a little less dependent on the store.
We’re partnering with @_hengear_ over the next few months to share what’s made this so easy for us starting with their nesting boxes (cleaner, safer, and designed with both you and your chickens in mind).
Our goal? To see how many moms we can help get their own backyard eggs going 🐓🥚 Let’s do this!
