Our Story

We first met in grad school. Carly was the shy Northerner and Rachel the friendly Southerner. We spent the next 4 years with our heads buried in books, drinking lots of coffee, taking shopping breaks and endless exams, and often staying up way too late. The journey was both difficult and rewarding, and we enjoyed every step of it (for the most part, our adrenals disagreed!). We graduated together - Rachel with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Carly a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Upon graduation, we each had our own plan as Rachel moved back to her southern roots in Georgia and Carly stayed to practice in Chicagoland. After a year, Carly was convinced to move to a warmer climate and landed in Atlanta near Rachel. We both married, had kids, and were involved in our own professional clinical practices. Together for over a decade, we have celebrated victories (yay!) and supported each other through the hardships of motherhood + life. ‘Cause let’s face it - being a chick and a Mom while keeping it all together can be tough stuff!

Hi, I’m Rachel!

Nice to meet ya! I have six kiddos (including infant twins!), a hubby in metals recycling, and recently built a house on some land so we can turn it into a farmette some day. If I am not hanging w/ my family or working, I can likely be found at a quaint coffee shop, farmer’s market or a fun boutique—love, love! I received my undergrad degree in Public Health from the University of Georgia and my doctorate from National University of Health Sciences (where I met my bestie, Carly!) I’ve loved and learned so much practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor, it’s such an honor! Currently, I see patients at an integrative clinic (that includes the Atlanta Birth Center, yay!) I co-founded w/ a few awesome colleagues where I am the head of primary care. My journey so far has sparked a special interest in women and children’s health, gastrointestinal dysfunction & disease, environmental medicine, endocrinology/ hormonal dysfunction, mental health and clinical nutrition. My passion and my life’s work, I believe, is to increase access to integrative medicine and to nourish the lives of others through holistic health care. So, thanks for joining us, kale blossoms! I wish you happiness & health!

Hi, I’m Carly!

Proud mother of a 10-year old daughter & 8-year old son, loving Cocker Spaniel Lucy, wife to a hardworking foodie, and always on the lookout for ways to make our lives healthier and more balanced! I’m a mid-westerner at heart, with an appreciation for the beautiful South in which I call home. I enjoy a good magazine and a cup of coffee, cherish quiet time, and am re-energized by the sun! I earned my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and received my Doctorate of Chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences, and continue to study in the amazing arena of functional nutrition. I’ve spent years working with individuals and families, guiding them in their personal journeys through nutrition, lifestyle and environmental examination, and have also performed clinical review outside of private practice. I feel that my experiences and information learned should be shared with you all! Even the smallest changes can result in the biggest reward. Enjoy yourself in our space - we hope you find your moment to blossom!
