      This is BIG current news. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) met today re: the hep B 💉at birth. They decided to postpone the vote on whether to continue the shot at birth until tomorrow. They have the chance to right a wrong that was imposed on vulnerable newborns decades ago without ethical reason or public health data showing necessity. This is a huge time for transparency and the chance to begin restoring trust in our healthcare system. We’re sure hoping they’ll do the right thing tomorrow. 🩷🙏 The future of our children is too important.
