Homeade Hand Sanitizer

We love making our own hand sanitizer to avoid toxic components used in many over-the-counter versions. The use of topical alcohol can be effective as long as it is greater than 70%. We like the following “recipe”:

• 4 oz 99% isopropyl alcohol

• 1 oz colloidal silver (250-1000ppm)*

• 15-20 drops tea tree essential oil*

• 15-20 drops eucalyptus essential oil*

• 1 oz aloe vera gel (optional)*

In a bowl or jar, combine alcohol, colloidal silver, essential oils and mix well. Pour the mixture into 1-2 oz spray bottles* for easy on-the-go use.

Optional: using a 4 oz squeeze bottle, combine 1 oz of aloe vera gel with 3 oz of mixture if you desire a thicker consistency.
