Spiced Pumpkin Smoothie (GF/DF/V)
1 C unsweetened non-cow milk of your choice (coconut, oat, hemp, flax, pea, etc)
1/2 C organic pumpkin puree (for convenience, we sometimes use BPA-liner free canned organic pumpkin)
1/2 banana
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp hemp protein seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
pinch nutmeg
pinch cloves
handful of organic spinach (optional- this will turn it mint green so if you have kiddos with anti-green tendencies, leave this ingredient out or serve in a non-clear glass)
