Naturopathic Wet Sock Therapy (a.k.a. Warming Socks Treatment)

• Stimulates immune response
• Boosts circulation and lymph flow
• Helps break fevers, relieve nasal/sinus congestion, and promote restful sleep
• Gently lowers inflammation and supports natural healing
What You’ll Need:
1. 1 pair of thin cotton socks (ankle or crew length)
2. 1 pair of thick wool socks (or thick wool-blend hiking socks)
3. Warm water basin
4. Cold water or ice water basin
5. A towel
6. Optional: essential oils (like eucalyptus, peppermint, or lavender) for extra
Here’s What to Do:
1. Warm your body or feet first in hot water or a bath.
2. Soak thin cotton socks in cold water and wring them out.
3. Put on the cold damp cotton socks.
4. Pull thick dry wool socks on top.
5. Go to bed and leave both pairs on overnight until dry.
